Donating Santa Hats

Every year, at Christmas, I try to spread cheer to my community. In 2017, I decided to donate 100 Santa hats to Conway Regional. In November of that year, my mother almost died from kidney failure. CRH saved her life. The doctors and nurses were amazing. I started thinking, when you’re in the hospital, the staff becomes the most important family you have. The human interaction you have with them is vital when you are physically at your lowest. Being in the hospital on Christmas makes that interaction much more important and vital. I wanted to bring a little cheer to that interaction. I thought the nurses needed to be Santa.
