Holocaust Remembrance Day

It is hard to believe that something so evil could happen and so many people just stood by and watched.

I was going to make a simple picture and post it. I thought that just was not enough. I took an entire semester on the Holocaust and it changed my life. I painted the gates of Auschwitz and gave prints to the Dallas Holocaust Museum. I looked for a copy and couldn’t find it. It was almost 20 years ago. So I decided to to take the time to make this video. I watched it many times. In the editing process, as I got to the end, I could barely see to finish it through my tears. It is hard to believe that something so evil could happen and so many people just stood by and watched.
